One day. One change.

Day 7 · Reflection

Freedom from wanting

Catch one urge to buy something today, and let it pass without acting on it.

Minimalism is a way out of a mind that is always wanting, and every advert and every feed is built to keep that mind busy. Today, notice one urge to buy. Do not fight it; watch it arrive, and watch it leave. Nothing bad happens. The gap between wanting and buying is where your freedom lives, and it widens with practice. Less stuff is a side effect. The prize is a quieter head, with more room for what makes you happy.
