One day. One change.

Day 1 · Nature

Forest bathing

Spend twenty unhurried minutes among trees today, phone in your pocket.

Morning light through a beech wood, landing on ferns and moss

In Japan it has a name, shinrin-yoku, forest bathing. No hiking target, no step count. You walk slowly under trees, or sit, and let your senses do the work. Small studies have measured changes in stress and immune markers after time in woodland. You do not need the studies to feel it. Find the nearest park, wood or tree-lined street and give it twenty minutes. Notice what you hear when you stop talking.
